Ideally it'd be pretty badass to find an artist on here, which shouldn't that hard considering how many great drawers there are here that would love an opportunity like this. What kind of art style are you looking for the characters to be?
I am considerably early in the process of development, I haven't settled upon an art style. I'm quite open for whatever the artists want to create. My current philosophy with game development is creating as much with as little labour as possible. The animations are made out to be simple, and it would be weird if the sprites weren't.
So yeah, I'm pretty open.
It would be cool if anyone's feeling to contribute, can send me ideas for an artstyle of the game by messaging me a sprite of a rat and or the hero character in whatever artstyle(s) you'd think would be fitting for an adventure RPG kind of game.
